Dong Jinling was confined in a place full of fights and dangers, experiencing months-long perils. After the confinement was over, she fled and got the last scenic photo in the camera film developed. She peeled off her skin in her palm and enveloped the frozen sky in the photo with her skin so that painful patterns of veins and signs of growth were in the sky. These are notes written with misery by the survivor.

In October 2023, Dong Jinling revisited the place as a member of a tourist group. She took a few scenic photos to record the journey, reconnecting herself with the fracture formed in this land thirteen years ago. When a survivor feels daunted by that history and can only stop for the scenery, all the accusations are underneath the beautiful sceneries, strange and sharp.
