Solo exhibition, A26 Space, Beijing

Artist Guo Longyao’s solo exhibition “Butter, Coffee, Steamed Buns” is officially opened to the public at A26 Space in Beijing. The exhibition presents 27 paintings from various periods and themes, including the series of field landscapes, house walls and apricot blossoms in spring. Guo Longyao’s works are derived from individual life experiences, pure and solid, everlasting and beautiful, bringing viewers an aesthetic experience that transcends time and space.

About Artist

GUO Longyao

Guo Longyao, Born in Gansu in 1989. Graduated from Chuanyin Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts in 2013 and currently lives and works in Beijing. Guo Longyao's works are aerial shots of his daily life when he grew up in the countryside. He placed the main character outside the frame, making him stand together with the audience and the author, becoming one. They watched and felt the scene of Guo Longyao's early life together. These scenes are a mixture of shared memories and imaginations of multiple characters, confusing, blurring and even losing specific details that vary from person to person and from time to time.
